Mark is the owner of Quad Cities Financial Group in Davenport, IA. He has been in the financial services industry since 1982. While attending college, Mark was recruited to an internship with Life Investors Insurance Company and transitioned to full time position as a financial services representative and was promoted to a sales management position in North Central Iowa. Mark was promoted in May 1986 to become a General Agent in the Quad Cities area. Mark and his family moved to DeWitt, IA and opened the first agency office, Mark Thompson & Associates in July 1986. In 2016 Mark re-branded the organization to Quad Cities Financial Group.
Mark and his family now live in Bettendorf, IA. Mark's wife Kris for several years was the full-time office manager as well as raising their three children, Jason, Justin, and Jessica.
Mark is a 31-year member of NAIFA, National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors. He is licensed in Life, Health and has had his series 6 & 63 for 30 years on the investment side.
